Welcome to the Solid State Electronics division
at The Ångström Laboratory.
Integrated circuit technology and its later development, microsystem technology, make good use of a multitude of processes and analysis methods developed and refined during the second half of the last century. The impact on society from this evolution has been tremendous.
We continue this work by researching new ideas, methods and materials for use in solid-state electronic devices, sensors and solar cells. While some research is focused on development of specific device, other advances the single fabrication steps.
