Micro for micro - microsystems for cells and diagnostics
We use advanced micro and nano-processing techniques to develop minaturiserade system that can be used as research tools in the life sciences. Our systems can for example be used to investigate how different cells respond to external stimuli. We also make use of microfluidics to sort and concentrate cells and microparticles. We also have research activities in the area of organs-on-chip, where we are developing model systems of various biological barriers for drug-delivery studies.
