"The EPS Plasma Physics Innovation Prize 2019" goes to Hana Barankova and Ladislav Bardos.They both work at the division of Electricity at the Department of Engineering Sciences, Uppsala University.
On EPS website: Hana Barankova and Ladislav Bardos have contributed significant novel work on environmental protection by the conversion of hazardous gases, and on the reduction of energy consumption in industrial processes by means of plasma technology.

- The EPS Council is held annually and reviews the activities of the Society, approves the annual accounts and discusses priorities for the future. Each of the 42 Member Societies is represented.
